It was a stifling hot day at Magic Millions races on the Gold Coast, which I was told is the norm (despite knowing this I had hopes of cooler weather). The new 'der Mond' clutch made its official debut with both Milano Imai, racing fashions personality, and Sonya Spielmann styling them beautifully with very different looks, oh and of course myself. I entered the fashions on the field competition armed with a carbon black 'der Mond' Clutch and military style cap only to be ousted in the first round, quite understandable considering it was a daring look comparative to the usual elegance of Fashions competitions at race meets. Milano managed to get through to the finals of the event hosted by Harrolds luxury department store, but was not quite able to make the podium. The winners looked gorgeous, however I think they might just be missing the perfect accessory... but I may be a touch bias. ;-) I chose a last minute outfit with only my hat shape guiding me. I ended up wearing a RixoLondon dress, Marni shoes, Chanel sunglasses, Stomp bangle, Paspaley ring and earrings made from modified Lovisa necklaces. The hat got painted matt black at last moment to match my 'der Mond 'Clutch and shoes.

These photos help me appreciate this art even more. I am just so amazed to see how good some of these photographers can be. It's an eye-opening experience for me, and I love to live every second of it.
